LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE MOTHER ABOUT IMMUNIZATION WITH THE COMPLETENESS OF BASIC IMMUNIZATION IN BABY IN KEMUNING LOR VILLAGE, ARJASA DISTRICT, JEMBER DISTRICT

Immunization is one of the efforts to increase the degree of health in a promotive and preventive manner in accordance with the vision of health development, namely healthy Indonesia. The coverage of Universal Child Immunization (UCI) in Jember Regency reached 60.89% while the achievement target was 80%. The survey results in the Village of Kemuning Lor of 15 mothers who have babies obtained the results that about 60% of immunization is incomplete. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge about immunization and the completeness of basic immunization in infants in the Kemuning Lor Village, Arjasa District, Jember Regency. The research design is cross-sectional that is concurrent data collection. The population of mothers who have babies is 57 babies. The sample size is 50 people with random sampling technique. The results showed that the level of maternal knowledge was sufficient (48%), Good (18%), lacking (34%). Incomplete infant immunization (62%), and incomplete (38%). Chi square analysis obtained values of x2 count (17,473)> x2 table (4,591), with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05, the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the level of maternal knowledge about immunization with the completeness of immunization in infants with a significant or moderate relationship. It is recommended to mothers to increase knowledge about immunization by searching from various sources, this is expected to improve health behavior, especially immunization
