Jurnal Kesehatan dr. Soebandi (JKDS) is a peer-reviewed journal from Universitas dr. Soebandi, Jember, Indonesia, published by Research and Community Service Department (LPPM) since October 2012. JKDS advances evidence-based knowledge and fosters scholarly discussion for researchers, academics, clinicians, health professionals, and policymakers, aiming to develop health education, clinical practice, pharmaceutical services, maternal and child health, and community health improvement. The journal provides a dedicated forum for these audiences to share scientifically sound, ethically conducted, and relevant studies.

The journal publishes original research, reviews, and scholarly works in nursing, midwifery, and pharmacy, especially those addressing current health challenges locally, nationally, and internationally. JKDS encourages interdisciplinary perspectives to strengthen science, practice, innovation, and quality improvement in health services.

All submissions undergo editorial screening and peer review for originality, merit, rigor, and ethics. As an open-access journal, JKDS expands access to scientific knowledge and advances health sciences and practice.

The journal prioritizes works that advance evidence-based practice, professional growth, health service improvement, and community health.

JKDS invites submissions from clinicians, health educators, pharmacists, maternal and child health specialists, patient safety researchers, and community health practitioners. Interdisciplinary studies should clearly relate to these core audiences and fields.

Vol. 14 No. 1 (2026) of Jurnal Kesehatan dr. Soebandi presents a collection of peer-reviewed articles covering multidisciplinary topics in health sciences, including nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, public health, mental health, clinical care, laboratory science, and health product development. This issue features empirical and applied studies addressing current health challenges, such as stunting risk among pregnant women, diabetic foot ulcer prevention, hypertension management, emergency response training, elderly mental health, breastfeeding support, pharmaceutical formulation, drug inventory efficiency, and community-based health interventions.
