Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Kesehatan dr. Soebandi (JKDS) undergoes initial editorial screening for fit with the journal’s focus, academic quality, and submission requirements. Manuscripts not meeting these criteria may be rejected at this stage without external review.
All manuscripts submitted to JKDS undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is generally reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. The review process may vary depending on reviewer availability, manuscript quality, and the extent of revisions required. The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board
Editorial decisions based on reviewers’ input may be:
- Accepted without revision,
- Accepted with minor revisions,
- Reconsidered after major revisions, or
- Rejected.
Authors must revise manuscripts in response to reviews within the set timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by reviewers if needed. The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board make final acceptance or rejection decisions.
JKDS maintains a fair, objective, and timely peer review process. Review duration varies based on reviewer availability, manuscript quality, and required revisions.
